Listening & Accent Reduction Workshop
The workshop was a great experience. The LinGOx teacher, Ian, knew exactly why I have an accent and he showed me via easy examples and speech practices how to reduce it. He motivated me a lot so I improved everyday during the one week workshop. Listening & Accent Reduction Workshop
I took one week of Listening and Accent Reduction class with Ian. He showed me how to reduce my accent with concrete examples, a lot of practice and role-playing. The classes were fun and turned out to be a good learning experience. And finally, I now understand the way North Americans speak. They use Stressed and Unstressed words and don't articulate really. With Ian's motivation, I was able to improve my listening skills and reduce my accent. I enjoyed this workshop and now am ready to practice with all the tools I learned to speak like a native speaker.

English Clinic
I took this course with Marie over a period of 8 weeks. She’s a very compassionate teacher and has a strong international background. She often used cultural examples to make the classes interesting and fun. She understood my difficulties with Phrasal Verbs and Idioms and took the time to explain very patiently with great examples and made me practice a lot. She corrected me when I made mistakes in a very positive way. When I got really stuck on words or expressions, she would use comparisons in French to make it easier for me to understand the context better.
